Originating from the ancient Greek Μουσεῖον, this blog is dedicated to museum storytelling. Through opinion posts created by the combination of written and visual material, I attempt to share my personal experiences with museum exhibitions. Musion started as a personal need to communicate with other people who are interested in going to museums but also with those who are not.
Neither an Art nor exhibition critic, I tend to approach every visit to a museum exhibition without bias or high expectations. Even if my passion for museums is indisputable, this is something that does not impede my ability to maintain a critical eye.
Museum storytelling is a term most commonly used to describe a storyline that unfolds throughout the whole museum and mainly through its exhibitions. Musion approaches museum storytelling on a different level, with the use of the Musion Four Axis_MFA method (see image above). Thus, exhibitions are to be analyzed via the prism of visitors, institute, art and society, as main areas of interest and relevance.
Your contribution to Musion is really important for the further development of its services. Thus, you are always more than welcome to contact me with your suggestions and opinions, so that we can engage in fruitful discussions by including multivocal insights.
My name is Constantine Dranganas and l welcome you to Musion. For further information do not hesitate to contact me.
